Emirates Institute for Banking & Financial Studies (EIBFS) has announced the new admission for its banking diploma programs (IFS, ICB & IBD). Mr. Jamal Al Jassmi General Manager of the Institute has indicated that the three programs are accredited by the ministry of higher education, and they have international affiliation with some of the internationally recognized academic and professional institutions as well. The three programs are considered unique and first of their kinds in the UAE, said Al Jassmi; they reflect the international standards and current and modern trends in the global banking industry. A major characteristic of all these programs that they have been developed and designed to meet the real local needs of the banking sector in the UAE he added. Mr. Al Jassmi pointed out that the banking diploma programs are designed to provide students with both professional as well as academic knowledge. These programs have put a real contribution to the Emiratization process in banking sector by educating number of UAE nationals and qualifying them to join this sector. The graduates of these programs occupy very senior and prestigious positions among the banking and financial sector across the UAE, and they contribute fully to the growth and development of the national economy, said Al Jassmi. While preference will be given to UAE nationals, admission will be open to all nationalities. Morning & evening classes will be delivered in both Sharjah and Abu Dhabi campuses.
